Six by Nico London to open in July
Chef Nico Simeone has confirmed he will launch his first London restaurant, Six by Nico London, in Fitzrovia on 20 July.
The 76-cover restaurant on Charlotte Street, will be the chef's seventh site in the UK and home to a "revolving culinary hub" offering a new six-course tasting menu every six weeks.
The 'Chippie' menu, which will run until 6 September, is Simeone's nostalgic take on the classic British fish and chip shop and will feature dishes including a deep-fried mars bar, a ‘Fish Supper' and Scrabster monkfish.
Simeone, who has restaurants in Edinburgh, Belfast, Manchester and Liverpool, said his "refined and creative" tasting menus will be inspired by places, memories and ideas.
He added: "We are very excited to open Six by Nico London. At a time when London is starting to emerge from this horrific crisis, we are determined to be amongst the first of the new places that make this city such a great place to visit and look forward to welcoming our customers safely very soon."
In March this year, Simeone made headlines when he gifted his Glasgow restaurant 111 by Nico to his head chef Modou Diagne.
