Six by Nico to open in Liverpool
Chef Nico Simeone's Six by Nico restaurant concept is set to open a sixth site in Liverpool's Merseyside.
Offering the concept's signature £29 six-course tasting menu that changes theme every six weeks, the 345sq m venue in North John Street, formerly La Vina, will house a 90-cover restaurant including a wine and spirits bar. Severino designs and Blk 29 have been appointed to develop the site.
The venue will join sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast and Manchester, as well as the separate 111 by Nico in Glasgow's West End which opened in 2015.
Simeone said: "We are very excited to bring an unforgettable culinary experience to Liverpool. It was the obvious choice when looking for next site thanks to its thriving food and drink scene.
"Since we opened in Manchester earlier this year we have had an overwhelming amount of support, with guests travelling from all over the North West to try each of our menus. We couldn't be more delighted about bringing a completely new offering and dining experience to the people of Liverpool next."
