Peter Southcott appointed managing director of Kitchin Group

Tom and Michaela Kitchin have appointed Peter Southcott as managing director of their growing Scottish empire.
The chef and his wife and business partner have worked with Southcott since 2007 when he became their accountant.
The business has since grown to encompass the Michelin-starred Kitchin in Leith, the Castle Terrace and Southside Scran in Edinburgh city centre, the Scran & Scallie in Stockbridge and the Bonnie Badger pub with rooms in Gullane.
Southcott takes over the role at the Kitchin Group from founding managing director Ron Kitchin, who has taken on the role of chairman.
The new managing director has previously held the position of president of Fife Chamber of Commerce and is on the board of the Leith Chamber of Commerce.
