Honey & Co to open new bakery and café
The founders of Honey & Co will open a new deli, bakery and café named Honey & Co Daily in London's Bloomsbury this September.
Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich will be welcoming guests to a 40-cover dining room with a dedicated deli takeaway area offering coffees, pastries, cakes and lunches.
It marks their fourth opening since the launches of Honey & Co Bloomsbury, Honey & Smoke Grill House and Honey & Spice Food Store.
Honey & Co Daily will have a strong focus on baked goods, as baking has been the "beating heart, the backbone and basenote" of the couple's business, the group said.
The opening menu will feature a variety of Middle Eastern bakes made from Packer's recipes and a selection of salads, shakshukas and dips.
Guests will have access to all-day dining and those on the group's mailing list will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to supper clubs on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as on special occaisions, such as Rosh Hashanah.
Packer said: "Our day is shaped by our baking, and we want to bring that routine to our guests, whether it's becoming their daily stop for coffee and a pastry in the morning, a place to grab a quick but delicious sandwich for lunch, somewhere to pop for a slice of cake and an afternoon meeting, or a regular dinner with friends."
Srulovich added: "Our whole operation is powered by my wife Sarit, not least our pastry section – a fairy of sugar, fruit and flour, she conjures up incredible baked goods seemingly without moving, certainly without measuring too much, performing something not far from pure magic.
"This place is truly the space she deserves, a brand new kitchen dedicated to her art, plus a dining space that is so beautiful, I wish we could move in … it will make you weep."
The original Honey & Co opened in Fitzrovia in 2012 and relocated to Bloomsbury in 2022.
