Italian food hall to launch at the Gantry hotel

The Gantry hotel in London's Stratford has announced it will be home to Italian grocer Grappelli Food Hall from 25 May.

The food hall will offer a range of Italian deli products, such as cheese, charcuterie, pasta, fresh fruit and wines in the style of a typical Roman ‘pizzicheria'.

The 40-cover store will be open to both hotel guests and the general public.

Founder of the brand, Alessandro Grappelli, stressed that all the products on site have been sourced from independent Italian producers.

He said: "The whole Grappelli team and I are really excited to work alongside the Gantry on this new venture. We pride ourselves in the research that goes into selecting our products and hope that this will be reflected in the customer experience."

The Grappelli Food Hall will offer all-day service every day from 7.30am to 7pm.

Independent design-led hotel the Gantry is part of the Curio Collection and features 291 rooms over 17 floors.
