Tattu to open first London site at Outernet's Now Building
Independent restaurant group Tattu is expanding into London, with its fifth site due to open in early 2022.
First established in 2015 in Manchester, followed by sites in Leeds, Birmingham and Edinburgh (pictured), the contemporary Chinese restaurant brand has secured a site on London's Denmark Street.
The 220-cover restaurant, which offers diners traditional Chinese flavours fused with modern cooking curated by executive chef Andrew Lassetter, will be situated at Outernet's Now Building, in a deal orchestrated by Bruce Gillingham Pollard.
Tattu will offer panoramic views from the building's rooftop and terrace, with the design concept developed by Joyce Wang Studio.
"The vision for Outernet is to boldly embrace the creative expression of Denmark Street and its rich history of culture, art and music. We wanted to provide a platform to celebrate leading independent brands that share that sense of expression and individuality. Tattu encapsulates this completely," said Richard Metcalfe, group chief operating officer of Outernet Global.
"The restaurant group brings a unique approach to dining, offering guests an impeccable interpretation of the art of hospitality. It's built an impressive reputation in the UK for consistently pushing both culinary and design boundaries and we cannot wait to welcome Tattu to Outernet London."
