Gino D'Acampo, Leeds

Italian chef Gino D'Acampo has opened a flagship restaurant in the newly refurbished Marriott hotel in Leeds.

The Boar Lane venue has undergone a £2m transformation and now showcases a 13 metre Onyx bar, a seated cicchetti counter encircling a brass pizza oven, handmade pendant lighting and an outdoor terrace.

The all-day Italian diner has been designed by Bernard Carroll and also features statement wallpaper and whitewashed brickwork.

D'Acampo's à la carte menu, which is delivered by head chef Emanulele Diana, has been divided into 11 sections, including pane and olive; carpaccio and tartare; pasta and risotto; and griglia.

3'6 Bar, Piccadilly, London

Fortnum & Mason has partnered with French architect Arthur Mamou-Mani to open 3'6, a bar, exhibition and co-working space in London's Piccadilly. Mamou-Mani has incorporated 3D printing into the venue design.

Gothic Bar, Kings Cross, London

Midland Grand Dining Room hotel in London's King's Cross is to open Gothic Bar, a classic cocktail bar supervised by bar manager Jack Porter. Drinks will be inspired by the flavours of Eau De Vie and the menu will offer seven different types of absinthe.

Municipal Liverpool

The Municipal Liverpool hotel is joining Accor Group's MGallery portfolio as it prepares to open in a mid 19th-century, Grade II-listed building. The 179-bedroom property is spread across four floors and will be home to the Botanic Tea Room and Palm Court bar and lounge.

Noci, Islington, London

Islington-based pasta restaurant Noci is to open in London's Battersea Power Station. Small plates, Sicilian street food snacks and cocktails on tap will be available.

Radisson Hotel York

Radisson has opened in York. It is the group's second Radisson-branded hotel in the UK. The 200-bedroom property is located in an eight-storey city-centre building and features self-service check-in desks, the Paddle Room restaurant and parking spaces for up to 51 cars.

These Days Aperitivo bar, Bermondsey, London

Oli Man, founder of wine and fruit spritz brand These Days, will be opening an aperitivo bar in an old archway in London's Bermondsey. Bar snacks will be supplied by St John Bakery and Neal's Yard Dairy. The 50-cover bar includes an outdoor terrace that will be open for the summer months.

Embers Brighton

Chefs and long-time friends Dave Marrow and Isaac Bartlett-Copeland have opened Embers in Brighton's historic Lanes quarter, championing Sussex produce. The menu comprises sharing plates crafted from locally grown ingredients, with dishes such as wagyu Denver steak, Roscoff onion and coffee hollandaise cooked in a wood-fire cage set over smouldering embers.

The bold, smoky flavours are complemented by a range of cocktails such as the Smoking Sazerac, which combines Cognac, whiskey and bitters, and is served with a bubble of smoke aromas.

Guests will enjoy a comfortable, yet pared back experience, with the dining room heated by the wood fire at its heart.

Hatched by the team behind Quaich bar at Scotland's Craigellachie Hotel, Spey Bar has opened upstairs at Browns Covent Garden, focusing on whiskies and cocktails with fare from Scottish producers.

Eatery EllaMia at St Martin's Lane hotel in Covent Garden has launched EllaMia After Dark. The eatery will swap its cakes and tea menu for Italian small plates and nibbles, classic cocktails, wines and Champagne.

Creams Café, Wigan and Blackburn

Dessert destination Creams Café is opening two new sites in the north of England this month. A kiosk-style venue in Wigan and a café in Blackburn will both serve the brand's menu of desserts and sweet treats.

Atis, London Bridge

Atis is opening its fifth site, in Borough Yards, London Bridge. Customers will be able to pick their favourite dishes from the menu or create their own salad or warm bowl.

The Three Horseshoes, Somerset

Celebrated chef Margot Henderson is heading outside of London to open her first pub with rooms in the countryside village of Batcombe in Somerset.

The Three Horseshoes occupies an 18th-century building containing a bar, dining room and five bedrooms, and is set between a 15th-century church and acres of meadows and woodland.

Upon entering the pub, guests will be greeted by an original inglenook fireplace, stone and wooden floors, and beamed ceilings in the bar.

Henderson, who opened the French House dining room in London with her husband and St John founder Fergus Henderson, has teamed up with chef Nye Smith to create a concise food menu served from lunch through to late evening.

The five bedrooms are designed to reflect the historical character of the pub, while bathrooms will be finished in a traditional Victorian style with white ceramics and built-in or roll-top baths.

Montagu's Mews, Bath

The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath has refurbished its restaurant and bar space and opened a new dining terrace. Montagu's Mews serves dishes using south-west produce and resembles an 18th-century salon.

An all-day dim sum restaurant has opened on the fourth floor of London's Harrods, serving handmade dumplings. The conservatory-style space has views across the rooftops of west London and also serves cocktails.

Cantinetta Antinori, Kensington

Italy's Antinori family have been making wine since 1385 and will open their first London restaurant in Kensington this month. It will offer all-day Tuscan dishes and fine wines and a live jazz band will play every evening.

Real Greek Glasgow

The casual dining chain has opened its second restaurant in Scotland in the Silverburn leisure complex in Glasgow. The 160-cover site serves Greek dishes and kids eat free every Sunday when adults spend £10.

Coco Canary Wharf

Anatolian restaurant Coco is opening a site in London's West India Quay, which will feature a large outdoor area and serve a completely alcohol-free cocktail list. Drinks will include the Espora 24k Gold, a blend of Chardonnay and Macabeo grapes with gold flakes.

Mondo Beer + Pizza, Borough Yards, London

Mondo Brewing Company has teamed up with California-style sourdough pizzeria Joe Public to open Mondo Beer + Pizza in a Victorian rail arch in London's Borough Yards.

The 924sq ft site marks the brewer's first bricks and mortar location and has been signed on a 15-year lease.

There are 16 craft beers available, all of which have been sourced from Battersea and are served from six copper tanks that hang from the ceiling.

Interiors match the Yards' medieval-inspired architecture and also feature vibrant artwork.

Mondo Beer + Pizza has teamed up with boutique ice-cream brand Vagabond to offer a signature ice-cream infused with Mondo's 11.5% Candy Candy beer.

Pizza Pilgrims Nottingham

Pizza Pilgrims is to open in what used to be Nottingham's oldest jewellery shop. The 80-cover, three-storey restaurant will feature a giant Piaggio Ape-shaped disco ball, a disco toilet, and a ‘dramattic' rave cave.
