Hotel Management Company offers free advice during coronavirus crisis

The Hotel Management Company has offered the expertise of its team of specialists out to independent hotels struggling with the challenges of the coronavirus outbreak.

The company's team of consultants are offering remote advice and support on an entirely pro bono basis for as long as current circumstances prevail, with specialists in finance, funding and control; procurement and energy management; direct guest marketing; accessing government support; and revenue management.

Operational advice is also available from industry figures including 2007 Hotelier of the Year Michael Gray, Nick Greaves, David Steel, Christine Hodder and Robert Holland.

Chief executive Roddy Watt added: "Our hotel directors who have years of hands-on operational experience, stand ready to talk through any issues you may have which are not covered by our specialists. They are keen to help you in whatever way they can.

"If you could do with some help right now just pick up the phone and call me. Our resources are comprehensive, and we're able to handle any question relating to hotel ownership or management in good times and bad."
