Anthony Demetre's Wild Honey in Mayfair to close temporarily
Anthony Demetre's Wild Honey restaurant in London's Mayfair will close temporarily following Friday's dinner service (1 March).
The restaurant was placed on the market last month when the chef said he was considering whether to renew the lease or relocate and a further announcement is anticipated shortly, with remaining at the Mayfair site a possibility.
Wild Honey opened in 2007 and was awarded a Michelin star in 2008, which it held until the publication of the 2017 guide. Along with Will Smith, Anthony Demetre had previously been behind Michelin-starred Arbutus, which closed in 2016.
In 2018, the chef opened Vermuteria, in Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross, specialising in Vermouth.
