Anthony Demetre places Wild Honey on the market as he considers options
Anthony Demetre has placed his Wild Honey restaurant in Mayfair, London, on the market as he considers whether to renew the lease or relocate.
The 2,267 sq ft, 2 St George Street site has been listed for a rent of £103,000 a year.
Demetre said: "With three years remaining on the lease, I have decided to explore the market, to decide whether I will renew the lease or relocate Wild Honey when that time comes."
Wild Honey opened in 2007 and was awarded a Michelin star in 2008, which it held until the publication of the 2017 guide. Along with Will Smith, Anthony Demetre had previously been behind Michelin-starred Arbutus, which closed in 2016.
In 2018, the chef opened Vermuteria, in Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross, specialising in Vermouth.
