Thirteen hoteliers receive Master Innholder status

Thirteen hoteliers have been awarded Master Innholder status.

The award was created by the Worshipful Company of Innholders and is given to those who have proven themselves as industry leaders, having set the standard for the next generation of hospitality talent.

Recipients include Anne Golden, vice president operations, UK & North America and general manager, Pan Pacific London, who was a speaker at The Caterer People Summit held last week.

Dan Rose-Bristow, chairman of the Master Innholders, said: "I am extremely proud to extend a warm welcome to the Master Innholders organisation's 13 new members.

"They have all displayed a remarkable passion and dedication to the hospitality industry and are making valuable contributions not only to their own hotels but also to the industry as a whole. My heartfelt congratulations go out to each of our new Master Innholders."

The Master Innholders was formed in 1978 and has since been offering numerous education programmes, including the Master Innholders Aspiring Leaders Diploma, the Innholders Scholarship, and the Hotel Leadership Conference, to support the development of hospitality managers.

The new Master Innholders are:

• Chris Wayne-Wills, CEO, Crerar Hotels

• Douglas Waddell, operations director, Hand Picked Hotels

• Grant Campbell, Nobu hotel London Portland Square

• Jeremy Goring, chief executive, The Goring

• Johan Scheepers, general manager, Kimpton Clocktower Hotel

• Lynn Brutman, regional vice president and general manager, Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane

• Matt Townley, regional operations director, Dakota Hotels

• Nick Davies, general manager at the Marylebone Hotel London

• Richard Hassell, Co-Proprietor and Managing Director, the Ilsington Country House Hotel and Spa

• Richard Palmer, managing director, Devonshire Hotels and Restaurant Group

• Sonja Vodusek, managing director, The Peninsula London

• Stefanie Hardy, general manager, Park Plaza Victoria
