The Polizzi Collection created for Olga Polizzi's three hotels
Hotelier Olga Polizzi has created an overarching brand for her portfolio of three properties across the south of England.
The Polizzi Collection has been launched to encompass the Hotel Tresanton in St Mawes, Cornwall; Hotel Endsleigh, near Tavistock, Devon; and the Star in Alfriston, East Sussex.
The acquisition of the Star in October 2019 marked the first time that Polizzi has gone into partnership with her daughter Alex, best known as Channel 5's Hotel Inspector. The 37-bedroom Star, which partly dates to the 13th century, is currently closed for a major renovation with an opening planned for the summer.
At one time the Star was owned by Polizzi's father Lord Charles Forte, as part of the Forte Group's Heritage Collection.
Polizzi's second daughter Charlie has also been involved in creating the hotels which are described as sharing the ethos of "great service, superb style and total relaxation for the guest".
She added: "Given our recent acquisition of the Star, it made sense to bring our three hotels together, and make them more aligned. A great many of our guests are fervent fans of either Endsleigh or Tresanton; we would like them to try both hotels and now all three hotels.
"Tresanton has wonderful views across the sea to St Anthony's lighthouse, Endsleigh is set deep in the countryside in one of Humphry Repton's historic gardens, the Star is in an unspoilt medieval village at the foot of the South Downs; they are each so different, yet complementary."
Polizzi is also deputy chairman and director of design at Rocco Forte Hotels, which helped created with her brother Rocco Forte.
