Danny Pecorelli, managing director at the Exclusive Collection, will share his experience of guiding the business through achieving B Corp accreditation, while Maria Hunter, co-owner of the Pig's Head pub in Clapham, London, will detail how she has weaved sustainability through every part of this new business.
They will be joined on a panel by Ian Thomas, chief executive of Bartlett Mitchell, Brendan Eades, head chef of the Conduit, London, and Beth Langley, out of home director at Nespresso Professional, which has also recently announced its own B Corp certification.
The webinar, sponsored by Nespresso Professional, will take a deep dive into how to go about achieving sustainability certification, such as B-corp and Planet Mark. As well as exploring what the benefits are for sustainability certification and how to attain this, we'll be discussing the core elements to reducing your environmental impact, including recycling and responsible management of resources, and efficient and renewable energy use.
"Sustainability is the word on everyone's lips, but actually knowing how to go about significant change to make a difference to our planet can be mind boggling," said The Caterer's features and special projects editor Caroline Baldwin.
