The Bugis Singapore, South Kensington, London

The Bugis Singapore restaurant has reopened in the Bailey's hotel in London's South Kensington.

Diners can tuck into traditional family-style recipes ranging across Singaporean, Malaysian and Chinese cuisine with a selection of small and sharing plates created from local, seasonal produce.

The name of the restaurant stems from the bustling area of Singapore that is known for its vibrant street food scene.

The Bugis originally opened in 1995 on a street corner and has since moved into the Bailey's hotel. The most recent renovation project has also resulted in modern interiors for Bailey's Bar, which serves a menu inspired by Lord Bailey's journey into the Far East.

Karapincha, Canary Wharf, London

Sri Lankan restaurant Karapincha will be opening its first permanent site in London's Canary Wharf. The business operates as a trader in three of London's food markets and is owned by twin sisters Vasanthini and Dharshini Perumal.

Catch, Berkshire

The Vineyard in Berkshire has opened alfresco dining pavilion Catch, which offers a seafood-led selection of sharing platters and light bites. The launch of the 40-cover space coincides with the hotel's 25th anniversary.

The Leaf and Cane, Blackfriars, London

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars has launched the Leaf and Cane bar. The drinks offering for the tropical-themed underground venue has been inspired by South American flavours, such as banana peel rum and pomegranate and hibiscus liqueur. Nine stone vaults are also available for alfresco dining.

Wingz, Mile End, London

Halal and American-style chicken chain Wingz has opened its fifth restaurant in London's Mile End. The quick-service restaurant group offers a range of chicken wings and caters for vegetarians and vegans with its cauliflower and jackfruit-based options.

Angel Above Portobello, Notting Hill, London

The Angel Above Portobello has moved into the Distillery in London's Notting Hill as a full-service restaurant. Executive chef Peter Breckon has created a selection of small and seasonal large plates for the 34-cover venue.

Maroto, Marylebone, London

Underground lounge and bar Maroto has opened in London's Marylebone as a sister venue to Brazilian restaurant Bossa. The late-night venue (with a closing time of 5am on Friday and Saturday nights) has been furnished with striking wallpaper, decadent carpets and marble tables.

Mr Fogg's Hat Tavern & Gin Club, Soho, London

The launch of Mr Fogg's Hat Tavern & Gin Club marks the ninth Mr Fogg's in London, following Inception Group's decision to transform one of their brands, the London Gin Club, into a Mr Fogg site.

The venue in London's Soho has undergone a major refurbishment and now spreads across two floors. It features a traditional Victorian tavern upstairs, offering a menu of Fogg's beers, punches and libations, while the downstairs gin club showcases a variety of juniper-based spirits and immersive cocktails.

The interiors and the cocktail vessels at Mr Fogg's Hat Tavern have been influenced by the history of the building opposite, Henry Heath's Hat Factory, which was established in 1822.

It comes after Inception Group revealed last month that it has acquired a site in London's Borough Yards.

Estiva, Chelsea, London

Estiva rooftop pop-up bar has opened in the Chelsea Harbour hotel. Guests can enjoy 5pm martini o'clock everyday, while jazz nights will take place every Friday.

Rosa's Thai Oxford

Rosa's Thai will be opening an 80-cover restaurant in Oxford, offering Saiphin and Alex Moore's selection of curries, noodles and stir-fries featuring ingredients from the Huai Yod district and third-generation family businesses.

World Cup semi-finalist Hakim Ziyech has launched Taco Taco with the founders of Inca London and Alec Piercy. Guests can tuck into a range of traditional and non-traditional flavours for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Richard Bigg, co-founder of Spanish restaurant group Camino, has launched a wine bar dedicated to wines from northern Spain. Bar Rioja offers 40 wines from Rioja's three zones: Alta, Alavesa and Oriental.

Le Petit Beefbar Edinburgh

Beefbar has opened Le Petit Beefbar Edinburgh in the Intercontinental Edinburgh the George. Matthew Parker has worked with Thierry Paludetto to create the menu.

Badiani, White City, London

Italian gelateria Badiani will be opening its flagship store in London's White City. The launch of the 861 sq ft venue will mark Badiani's 14th site in the UK. The ice-cream shop first arrived in London in 2015.

Nobu Shoreditch Bar & Terrace

Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch has opened its destination bar, Nobu Shoreditch Bar & Terrace. The bar, situated at the entrance of the hotel restaurant, features Japanese artwork and an alfresco sunken garden terrace, which is set to showcase a bespoke installation by a collaborating artist in the coming weeks.

The cocktail menu features drinks such as the yuzu and apple martini, concocted from Grey Goose Essence Strawberry with lemongrass, citrus, basil and apple; or a stingless bee margarita, which is served on the rocks with Rooster Rojo tequila, honey liquor, peach, coconut and Mediterranean citrus.

Alcohol-free options, such as the Sakura, made from maraschino cherry-flavoured iced tea with blueberries, jasmine tea and lemon juice, are also available.

Guests can pair drinks to a selection of Nobu dishes, including salmon new-style tacos and dashi fries.

Hop Vietnamese, Bond Street, London

Vietnamese street food restaurant Hop Vietnamese will be opening its third London site, in Bond Street. The group says it takes an average of 4,500 orders a week and that it will be opening a location in Manchester next month.

Smoky Boys, Wandsworth

Smoky Boys barbecue and Grill Haus has opened its twelfth restaurant, in London's Wandsworth. Guests will be offered a halal two-course set menu featuring beef, British lamb and chicken and plant-based alternatives for £19.95.

The Toad, Colwyn Bay

The Toad in Colwyn Bay has reopened after a £200,000 investment from Admiral Taverns. It now features a new bar, modern furniture, a coastal colour scheme and a beach-inspired hut, which serves seafood and ice-cream.

Harrogate Inn, Harrogate

The Inn Collection Group has opened the Harrogate Inn in the town's former St George hotel. The bar features traditional furnishings, a stained-glass dome and two outdoor patios, while the hotel has added six ground-floor suites to its existing 90-bedroom offering.

Ruby Zoe, Notting Hill, London

Ruby Hotels has opened its 16th hotel in Europe, Ruby Zoe, in London's Notting Hill. The 173-bedroom property features Caribbean-inspired design, a ground-floor bar and vinyl store and a Marshall amp in every room.

Wonderland, Soho, London

Brothers Alex and Oliver Santoro will open restaurant Wonderland in London's Soho this month. In the 1950s, their grandfather created successful meat business Direct Table Foods in Smithfield Meat Market, which inspired them to work with well-sourced, sustainable produce. All beef at Wonderland will be sourced from British and Irish farmers, while the chicken is reared organically in Pembrokeshire.

The venue will pay homage to the duo's time in the film industry, with its references to Alice in Wonderland, Pulp Fiction and The Matrix. It will boast Instagrammable interiors full of graphic posters and pops of pink.

Wonderland has installed separate friers, grills and workstations for vegan and meat-based dishes.

Fazenda, Bishopsgate, London

South-American restaurant group Fazenda will be making its London debut in Bishopsgate, following launches in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Liverpool.

Executive chef Francisco Martinez has created a menu that takes inspiration from the traditional cuisine of the Pampas in Argentina and Southern Brazil.

He will showcase a variety of grilled meats that will be carved at the table and which can be paired to a selection of Argentinian, Brazilian, Chilean and Uruguayan wines.

The 170-cover restaurant will be set across two floors and feature an expansive standalone bar with tables for alfresco dining and drinking. There will also be three private dining rooms and a ground-floor bar and lounge.

The space has been designed by hospitality design studio Carroll Design and consists of walnut wall finishes, honed Bardiglio nuvolato marble, custom Italian leather and statement chandeliers.

Daniel and Duncan Edwards will be opening a 55-cover restaurant in London's Battersea offering guests sourdough pizza, ‘hutch-made' seasonal gelato and craft beer.

40 Dean Street in London's Soho has opened a sister restaurant, 64 Old Compton Street, less than a minute walk away. The new Italian restaurant features a dark blue, antique-strewn dining room with café curtains. The space has been designed by owner Nima Safei.

Studio Gauthier, London

Alexis Gauthier has partnered with the British Film Institute to open a bistro-style, plant-based restaurant based on the chef's Cote D'Azur roots. The open-plan venue features a large marble open kitchen.
