The latest restaurants, bars and hotels to open their doors across the UK in December 2022
As the year draws to a close it's time to recognise the last few pubs, restaurants, hotels and bars to open this year. From steak houses in Liverpool to boutique hotels in Lymington, there are still a few great new places to check out before Christmas.

Hawksmoor, Liverpool
Hawksmoor has opened its 125-cover restaurant, 30-cover bar and 16-cover private dining room in the Grade II*-listed India Buildings.
Tanner Whiteside, who was previously head chef at Wreckfish in Liverpool, created the menu, which features signature dishes such as dictionary-thick steaks and sustainably sourced seafood.
Sunday roast is served between 12-4pm. The £24 two-course Express menu and the £27 three-course menu are also available. The cocktail menu features Steakhouse Sharpeners – modern takes on classic American steakhouse cocktails – sub-zero martinis and dessert-style nightcaps.
Hawksmoor has also partnered with Feeding Liverpool, a charity that collaborates with food banks across the city to feed Liverpool's hungry. Alongside an initial donation of £10,000, Hawksmoor will provide donations from best-selling drinks and dishes, fundraising and volunteering.

Club Soda, Covent Garden, London
Club Soda has opened its first permanent venue in London's Covent Garden following a successful crowdfunding campaign. The tasting room and shop will offer a destination for low- and no-alcohol drinks, as well as masterclasses, meetings and training.

Stereo, Covent Garden, London
Experimental Group has opened its underground late night drinking, dining and live music venue, Stereo, in London's Covent Garden. The 500-person capacity site will offer cocktails and dishes by chef Andrew Clarke, founder of Acme Fire Cult.

Shiro, City of London
Aqua Restaurant Group's Shiro has opened in the City of London, bringing a collection of sushi, hot dishes and Japanese food from Hong Kong. Head chef Ken Miyake will offer the restaurant's iconic crystal sushi.

Stanwell House, Lymington
The 27-bedroom boutique hotel Stanwell House in Lymington has reopened following a multimillion-pound refurbishment. Guests can dine at the Samphire seafood restaurant, the Salt Bar or the Orangery.

Sticks'n'Sushi, Westfield, London
The Danish-owned Japanese restaurant group Sticks'n'Sushi has opened its tenth UK restaurant, in Westfield London. The 120-cover site is set across two floors and features an open kitchen.
