Marco Pierre White restaurant to sublet upstairs space
The Marco Pierre White-branded restaurant in London's Leicester Square is looking to sublet its first floor to another operator.
CDG Leisure is seeking offers in the region of £250,000 for the 5,364 sq ft space, which can cater to over 190 covers and includes a large kitchen area.
The Mr White's restaurant will continue to trade on the ground floor and the entrance will be updated with a shared reception desk and branding.
CDG describes the space as in "excellent condition" and benefiting from "very high pedestrian footfall".
Mr White's steakhouse opened in 2021 in the former Chiquito site next door to the Odeon cinema and is run by the chef's franchise partner, Black and White Hospitality.
It was the first White-branded restaurant to open in London's West End for more than 10 years. The chef owned the Criterion restaurant in Piccadilly Circus for eight years from 2001 before selling it to Vasily Sopromadze in 2009.
White has worked with Black & White Hospitality since 2013 and has opened franchised restaurants under nine different brands.
