Levy UK + Ireland signs catering partnership with Burnley Football Club
Levy UK + Ireland, sports and entertainment caterer for Compass Group UK & Ireland, has partnered with EFL Champions Burnley Football Club for an undisclosed sum.
The foodservice provider will offer matchday concourse catering, conferencing and hospitality at the stadium, which marks Levy UK + Ireland's eighth Premier League contract for the 2023/24 season.
Burnley Football Club was formed in 1882 as one of the founding members of the Football League.
As part of the partnership, Levy UK + Ireland will redevelop the middle tier of Turf Moor's Jimmy McIlroy stand, as well as introducing self-order units to speed up service, especially at half-time.
The Levy culinary team are working with local suppliers and businesses such as family-run butchers Penny's Meats and fresh fruit, vegetable and dairy provider Ribble Farm Fare.
Both Levy and Burnley Football Club have committed to reviewing apprenticeship opportunities and collaborating with local colleges and schools for career development.
Jon Davies, managing director at Levy UK + Ireland, said: "Burnley invested wisely on the pitch over the last 12 months, and we're excited to partner with them to translate this onto the concourse and enhance the supporter matchday experience. The club is at the heart of the community, many of which are part of a fantastic catering and hospitality team, who we can't wait to work alongside to take this great club to the next level."
Stuart Hunt, co-owner of Burnley Football Club, added: "We have seen fantastic success on the pitch this past season and I'm excited that through this partnership we can continue to take great strides forward off the pitch too, with the renovations and improved technology allowing us to offer supporters an exceptional premium football experience."
