Inglenook Inns & Taverns acquires seven more pubs for Christmas
Lancashire-based pub company Inglenook Inns & Taverns has announced its acquisition of seven pubs for £2.4m.
The new sites are located in Yorkshire, the Midlands and the North-West.
James Waddington, chief executive of Inglenook Inns & Taverns, said: "These are high quality sites which are a complimentary fit to our existing estate as we continue with our quest to make all our sites the heart of the community.
"We are also confident that we will have a further announcement with regard to expansion in the New Year and that we are on track to realize our 2022 projections. These are very exciting times for the team at Inglenook Inns & Taverns."
The company bought an unnamed north-west based pub operator consisting of 20 freehold pubs in the Greater Manchester region earlier this year.
Inglenook Inns & Taverns had 15 properties in its estate in 2015, a number that has risen to more than 50 managed and tenanted pubs throughout the north west of England.
Current sites include the Devonshire Arms, Mellor; the Pickering Arms, Cheshire; and the Crown, Alrewas.
