Incipio group to open the Libertine at London's Royal Exchange
Incipio Group is due to launch the Libertine restaurant and bar space at London's Royal Exchange in October 2022.
The group behind Pergola, the Prince and Lost in Brixton has been developing its latest drinking and dining venue since 2019, following significant investment.
The Libertine will take up 7,000 sq feet in the underground vaults of the Royal Exchange, which was first opened by Queen Elizabeth I in 1571.
Historically, it was the first site to serve alcohol in London with a Royal Licence.
Open from morning until late, the Libertine will include a large bar, two private rooms and a main restaurant.
In May, Incipio announced it had plans to expand following the completion of a private placement of secondary shares led by Bosham Capital Advisors (BCA).
Incipio currently operates six bar and restaurant sites in the capital, which allow guests to order from multiple food and drink traders.
