Homeslice teams up with Neil Rankin's Symplicity Foods for vegan site
Homeslice and Neil Rankin's Symplicity Foods have teamed up to open the pizza group's first fully plant-based site in London's Shoreditch this June.
Homeslice, founded by Alan and Mark Wogan, will use products supplied by Rankin's vegan zero-waste company. Rankin established Symplicity Foods with the aim of making plant-based options both delicious and nutritious with products already sold in businesses such as Dishoom, Soho House and Gordon Ramsay.
Mark said: "Having access to Symplicity's full product range really inspired us to create a menu of pizzas that will excite any palate. The quality of what they do aligns perfectly with our core values. We're really proud and excited by what we've created together and we can't wait for the Homeslice brand to broaden its customer and fanbase even further through the concept."
The decision to open a plant-free site follows a 25% increase in sales of vegan pizzas across the brand's other since 2019.
The Shoreditch sites menu will offer six pizzas alongside sauces, drinks and desserts. Pizzas will include Italian sausage, spinach, sun-dried tomato and pangratatto as well as the meatball marinara and the bolognese with red onion and rosemary.
Rankin added: "Homeslice have always had a reputation for using the best quality ingredients and exploring bold and exciting flavour territories, which for me fits our direction perfectly. We're all really excited to see where they take our products."
Shoreditch will be Homeslice's fifth London site joining Neal's Yard, Marylebone, Shoreditch and the City.
