Hand Picked set to buy three further Channel Islands hotels
Hand Picked Hotels has exchanged contracts for the purchase of Fermain Valley and Ziggurat hotels in Guernsey and the Braye Beach hotel in Alderney, subject to regulatory approval.
The properties were previously owned by Derek Coates, who passed away last year. The Ziggurat has 14 bedrooms, Fermain Valley has 45 and Braye Beach has 27.
Julia Hands (pictured), chief executive and chairman of Hand Picked Hotels, said: "We are delighted to be acquiring these authentic destination hotels in the Bailiwick and very pleased to welcome their experienced and dedicated team members into the Hand Picked family. The hotels beautifully complement our collection of 19 individual hotels in locations that excite and inspire. I look forward to introducing them to our guests and building upon a legacy so wonderfully established by their previous owner Derek Coates, who sadly passed away last year."
Hand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by Hands and owns and operates 19 hotels across the UK and Channel Islands, including the St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Guernsey, and the Grand Jersey and L'Horizon hotels in Jersey.
