Hakkasan owner Tao announces F&B partnership with London's BoTree hotel
The owner of London's Michelin-starred Hakkasan restaurants, Tao Group Hospitality, has partnered with independent luxury hotel the BoTree, which is due to open this summer in London's Marylebone.
Tao Group Hospitality will oversee all the food and beverage outlets at the 199-bedroom hotel, which will be under the headship of general manager Eva Mount.
This includes the debut of Los Angeles-based Italian restaurant Lavo Ristorante, which will offer dishes such as tagliatelle al limone with marjoram, sweet butter and kaluga caviar and wagyu meatball topped with whipped ricotta.
Noah Tepperberg, co-chief executive of Tao Group Hospitality, said: "We're thrilled to be partnering with The BoTree on this new dining and entertainment concept and are excited to grow our London footprint with this addition to the West End's fine dining scene when the hotel launches this summer."
Rishi Sachdev, founder of the BoTree, added: "Renowned for its best-in-class venues, with the perfect blend of luxury, entertainment, and energy, we knew instantly Tao Group Hospitality would be aligned with our visions and values and bring the perfect chemistry to The BoTree. I am thrilled that The BoTree will be home to the first LAVO Ristorante in the U.K."
New York-based Tao Group Hospitality acquired Hakkasan Group in April 2021 and owns dining and nightlife venues such as Little Sister, Omnia, Koma and more.
