First UK Art'otel appoints Jennifer McCabe as general manager
Jennifer McCabe has been appointed as general manager of PPHE's Art'otel London Battersea Power Station, which is due to open this autumn.
McCabe has worked in hotel management for the past 15 years, including at Le Monde in Edinburgh, the Firmdale Group's Soho, Knightsbridge, Covent Garden and Charlotte Street Hotels, and Holmes Hotel London in Marylebone.
The 164-bedroom hotel is located in Battersea Roof Gardens and forms part of the Electric Boulevard, an area which features homes, offices and a pedestrianised high street in the power station development.
Art'otel Battersea Power Station will also be home to JOIA, a skyline restaurant and bar, a rooftop swimming pool, gym and spa, as well as a Grand Café and Art Gallery.
It is part of the latest phase of the Battersea Power Station development, which includes 254 residential apartments, over 100 shops, restaurants and cafes, and a 20,000 sq ft food hall.
Art'otel London Battersea Power Station is the first Art'otel to open in the UK.
Art'otel is part of the Radisson Hotel Group and is an art-inspired lifestyle hotel brand which has sites in Amsterdam, Berlin, Cologne and Budapest. It plans to open a second UK hotel in London's Hoxton in 2024.
