Feathered Nest Inn under new management as owners retire from industry

Restaurant with rooms the Feathered Nest Inn in Nether Westcote, Oxfordshire, has been sold as owners Tony and Amanda Timmer step away from the site to retire from the industry.

Adam Taylor, whose previous work includes property investment and consultancy, has purchased the business, which has been awarded five stars in the inn category and three rosettes by the AA for its accommodation and restaurant respectively.

The restaurant, which was named in the Sunday Times 100 Best Restaurants, is manned by the current holder of the National Chef of the Year title, Kuba Winkowski.

Michael Easton of JLL, who managed the sale, said: "The Feathered Nest was created by our clients from a closed down, tired venue to the award-winning inn that it is today.

"They left no stone unturned to create the epitome of a Cotswold Inn. During the sale process we received interest from a number of well-regarded individuals and groups but Adam represented the best possible party to take on the reins and make best use that this idyllic venue offers.

"We wish Tony and Amanda all the very best with their future plans and look forward to seeing Adam progress the good works that have been laid down."
