BrewDog eyes beer hotel site in Edinburgh
Beer brand BrewDog is eyeing a potential hotel site in Edinburgh, having opened bookings for its latest property in Manchester over the weekend.
Posting on Twitter, chief executive James Watt said: "Working on a potential @BrewDog beer hotel location in Edinburgh today. It would be great to open a beer hotel in the capital of our home country. Watch this space."
The 18-bedroom DogHouse Manchester is due to open in June with a rooftop bar and, like all its properties, has shower beer fridges and beer taps in every room.
BrewDog currently has three hotels, two in Ohio in the US under its Kennels and DogHouse brands, and one Kennels hotel in Aberdeen. Last year the group also revealed plans to open a craft beer hotel in London with the search on for a suitable location.
BrewDog recently became a certified B Corporation, meaning it is one of the few large hospitality companies in the UK to be recognised for its sustainability standards.
