Are you good en-oeuf? Entries open for Scotch Egg Challenge 2019
The annual Scotch Egg Challenge will see chefs from across the UK present eggstraordinary creations to a panel of judges in a bid to carry off a coveted trophy.
The ninth annual competition will take place on 10 April at the Canonbury in Islington, London, where judges will blind taste the entries scoring each out of 10 for taste, appearance and presentation.
The event will support Only A Pavement Away, a charity connecting hospitality employers with the homeless, ex-offenders and ex-service personnel.
Previous winners of the trophy include the Drapers Arms, the Holborn Dining Room and Smoking Goat; all in London.
Entries are now open and interested chefs and venues can express an interest by emailing guinea@youngs.co.uk
