Alimentum appoints Mark Poynton as head chef
Mark Poynton has moved from the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Midsummer House, Cambridge, after seven years to join Cambridge fine-dining restaurant Alimentum.
Poynton spent two years as head chef at Midsummer House with Daniel Clifford.
Prior to this he worked at the now-closed Michelin-starred Juniper restaurant in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, for 14 months with Paul Kitching.
Before that he worked at Shrigley Hall, Cheshire, for two years.
