Yvonne Thomas appointed chief executive of the Clink
Yvonne Thomas has been appointed as the new chief executive of the Clink and will be joining the charity in January.
She joins having most recently held the position of managing director at management consultant Nouvion. Her previous roles also include director of HMLR reform at the Ministry of Justice and managing director of citizen services at Interserve. She is also a trustee of the national charity People, Potential, Possibilities (P3).
Finlay Scott, the Clink Charity's chairman, said: "I'm delighted to welcome Yvonne to the Clink. The board of trustees was hugely impressed with her vision for the future of the charity, strategy for delivering it and the experience she will bring to the role."
Thomas said: "As the hospitality industry rebuilds following the coronavirus crisis, it will continue to face huge staffing challenges and has never needed the Clink Charity's graduates more to help tackle the major skills shortage. I am looking forward to working in partnership with the Ministry of Justice to help address the challenge of reoffending."
Thomas will replace Chris Moore, who from January is joining Compass Group to oversee its new multimillion-pound flagship training and development hub in the West Midlands. Moore, who won the 2021 Foodservice Cateys Outstanding Achievement Award, had been with the Clink for 11 years.
