Welbilt extends warranty on parts for key brands
Equipment supplier Welbilt has announced a one-year warranty extension on parts for three of its key brands.
The initiative, which launches today, is part of the brands' recently announced added value initiative and offers a further 365 days' warranty on its Convotherm, Merrychef and Crem models.
Steve Hemsil, sales director, UK ad Ireland for Welbilt, said: "With many businesses starting to plan for reopening in early July, operators will now be taking time out to decide if, and what, new equipment they need to invest in, in-order to meet new demands and new ways of service.
"However, it's not just the culinary features and benefits that operators will be looking out for, but added-value packages, particularly when it comes to customer support and quality assurance too – two key attributes that our new one-year parts warranty extension has been designed to satisfy, along with the many other aspects of our added value initiatives."
Warranties on orders delivered and invoiced between the 1 June and 31 December will now be as follows:
- Merrychef - two-year parts plus one-year labour
- Convotherm – three-year parts plus two-year labour
- Crem – two-year parts only (only applicable to coffee dispensing equipment)
Conducting the work will be Welbilt UK's team of 30 factory-trained engineers.
