The Twenty Two hotel and members' club to open in Mayfair in 2022
The Twenty Two, a new 42,500 sq ft hotel located within a Grade II-listed Edwardian manor at number 22 Grosvenor Square in London's Mayfair, is due to open in the first quarter of 2022.
Hospitality entrepreneur and tech investor Navid Mirtorabi, the former owner of Blakes in South Kensington, is behind the launch of the hotel, which will feature 31 bedrooms and suites, an all-day restaurant and a private members' club.
Natalia Miyar will design the interior and focus on textured fabrics, embroidered silks, velvets and bespoke wallpapers, working alongside French interior designer Bambi Sloan, who is consulting on the project, as well as Mirtorabi.

Mirtorabi said: "We want to redefine the traditional Mayfair hotel and club by bringing a new community to this iconic part of the city. To create a space where people can come together and feel welcome, regardless of where they come from, what their profession is and what they choose to wear. London is a melting pot of creative people from all cultural backgrounds and we want to celebrate that at the Twenty Two."
Executive chef Alan Christie will oversee food, creating modern-British menus with influences from southern Europe. The hotel will also feature four bars, which will showcase the brand's own spirits, cocktails and low-alcohol alternatives.
Darius Namdar, who was club director at Mark's Club and launched Chiltern Firehouse in 2014, will take the position of managing director. He said: "Our vision is to instil a more playful side to Mayfair. We want everyone who passes through the Twenty Two to experience exceptional service, be greeted with a smile and, most importantly, feel welcome and accepted, while enjoying the best hospitality London has to offer."
