The Hoxton Shepherd's Bush to open in 2022
The latest Hoxton hotel is due to open in London's Shepherd's Bush in the winter of 2022, which will be the fourth Hoxton in the capital.
The planned opening is one of five in the pipeline, with Hoxton hotels also set to open in Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels and Vienna over the course of 2022 and 2023.
Designed by Ennismore Design Studio, the Hoxton Shepherd's Bush will have 237 bedrooms of various sizes, including a new affordable ‘hideout' category; a central bar and open lobby; a restaurant, terrace and courtyard; a retail space; and the Apartment meeting and events space. Local art and design collaborations throughout the hotel will celebrate the area's creative neighbours.
Chief executive and founder Sharan Pasricha said: "It's been an incredibly difficult time for everyone, especially those in hospitality, and for all of those who, like us, love to travel and discover new places. Community has never felt more important, and we look forward to sharing Hoxton with more people in some of our favourite cities in Europe. Our exciting plans for the next few years reflect our optimism for the bounceback of travel and commitment to the industry we love. We can't wait to expand our portfolio and open our doors in these great cities, ready for when city breaks and international travel is back and thriving."
Entrepreneur Pasricha founded Ennismore in 2011 and bought the Hoxton hotel in London's Shoreditch a year later. The brand was expanded to a second Hoxton in Holborn (pictured) in 2014 and another in Southwark in 2019. The brand now has 10 properties in the US, Italy and France.
The Ennismore portfolio also comprises Gleneagles in Auchterarder, Perthshire; Working From_, a new shared workspace brand; and Eynsham Hall, a 50-acre country-house estate in Oxfordshire that will soon be reimagined, along with a new private members' club in London.
