A hotel manager who stole more than £100,000 from his employer has been jailed for two years and eight months.
Stewart McIntosh, 58, pleaded guilty to a string of theft and fraud offences committed while he was hotel manager of the Graham Arms in Longtown, Cumbria.
Carlisle Crown Court heard that between June 2010 and June 2018 he falsified daily cash management sheets allowing him to pocket up to £100,588 from the company.
McIntosh stole a further £6,650 from the business between January 2018 and May 2018 by falsifying records and failing to bank money on 12 occasions.
Detective constable Andrew Metcalf said: "This is a positive result for the owners of the premises, Mr McIntosh showed no remorse for his actions during the investigation.
