Seasoned secures catering contract with Brighton's Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust
Events company Seasoned has secured a contract to provide catering services at historic tourist destinations in Brighton.
The caterer has been selected by the Royal Pavilion and Museums Trust to create menus for events held at the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and the city's Royal Pavilion - a grand building originally constructed as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Seasoned managing partner, venues, Graham Turner, said that the team is "truly excited" by the deal, and will work to deliver "on the trust's aim to create a stimulating and unforgettable" events experience.
"We are always looking for the next venture in retail events and adding this contract demonstrates the quality and vision of Seasoned venues to deliver into these historic properties," he said.
The Trust, a charitable organisation that manages the Royal Pavilion and Museum's buildings and collections on behalf of Brighton and Hove City Council, has also appointed other caterers.
Seasoned sources 85 per cent of its ingredients within a 100-mile radius, and ensures its events are carbon neutral via a partnership with the Woodland Trust.
The company already provides catering services to top destinations in London. Many come via exclusive agreements with Merlin Venues, including at Madame Tussauds, Sea Life London, Shrek's Adventure! and the London Dungeons.
Royal Pavilion &and Museum Trust chief executive, Hedley Swain, said the team was "impressed by [Seasoned's] commitment to sustainable methods, which is an issue close to hearts, as well as the delicious food they provide."
