Pip Lacey and Gordy McIntyre open pizza kitchen at London taproom
Pip Lacey and Gordy McIntyre have expanded their Hicce hospitality portfolio with the opening of Little Pizza Hicce at the Goodness Brewing Co taproom in north London.
The taproom in Wood Green closed temporarily in January and relaunched on Friday 14 April, along with the new pizza kitchen.
The news was revealed in an Instagram post on the Hicce page with the caption: "You can't buy happiness, but you can buy pizza and that's kind of the same thing… introducing the newest member of the hicce party."
Lacey, former head chef at Angela Hartnett's Michelin-starred restaurant Murano and a banquet finalist on BBC Two's Great British Menu, opened Hicce in 2018 with McIntyre at Coals Drop Yard in Kings Cross, with an open kitchen focused on sharing plates and seasonal dishes. The duo opened a pub in Islington, Hicce Hart, last year, where they worked with Goodness Brewing Co.
Lacey also previously ran the kitchen at Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat farm restaurant and appeared in season two of the programme.
