Nominations open for Be Inclusive Hospitality's Spotlight Awards
Nominations are open for Be Inclusive Hospitality's second Spotlight Awards, celebrating the exceptional achievements by individuals and businesses from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds working within the hospitality, food and drinks sectors
This year sees the additon of two new award categories – Brand of the Year and Pastry Chef of the Year – bringing the total to 13. The awards will be presented on 16 October at M Threadneedle Street, London.
Lorraine Copes, founder of Be Inclusive Hospitality, said: "Last year I can only describe as a wonderful exploration and celebration of extraordinary, yet often underserved individuals and businesses up and down the country. The high number of nominations meant that our network and community grew tenfold, and I look forward to building upon this for the 2023 awards."
Nominations and self-nominations are invited in all categories, with shortlists and winners to be determined by an expert judging panel including chef, presenter and author Andi Oliver, chef consultant Jay Morjaria and founder of Peach 20/20 Peter Martin.
In addition, two People's Choice awards for the Person of the Year and Restaurant of the Year will be decided upon by calculating the most nominations each receives.
Nominations will close on 4 August and shortlists will be announced on 21 August. To submit a nomination click here.
