Forty Seven, Manchester
Kro Hospitality has opened boutique hotel Forty Seven in Manchester.
The 32-bedroom hotel is located within the Grade II-listed Lancashire House, which was formerly a shipping warehouse. It now features a bold interior design scheme with rich patterns and textures.
Each room is fitted with premium linens and curtains, sweep beds fitted with vegan bedding and mood lighting. The hotel has also appointed a sleep fixer, who is responsible for ensuring guests have a chance to properly relax during the night.
Rooms range from the Cosy King Bedroom to Asha's Suite, named after the Bollywood star Asha Bhosle.
The hotel's F&B offering is supported by Asha's restaurant, which serves Indian cuisine, while cocktail lounge the Peterman offers drinks inspired by the city.

Farmer J, City of London
‘Fieldtray' and ‘fieldbowl' restaurant Farmer J has opened its tenth site, in the City of London. The chain, founded in 2014, offers customised lunches as well as new dishes such as green chickpea tahini and kale and miso slaw.

Sud Pasta, Manchester
Southern Italian kitchen Sud Pasta, owned by brothers Michael and Alex de Martiis, has opened its first city-centre site in Manchester, following launches in Cheshire, Ancoats and Sale. It offers fresh Pugliese pasta by the De Leonardis family in Altamura.

Bébé Bob, Mayfair, London
The team behind Bob Bob Ricard will be opening rotisserie chicken restaurant Bébé Bob in London's Mayfair as part of the group's 15-year anniversary. Group chef director Ben Hobson has chosen two varieties of chicken from France to be carved at the table.

The Hawk's Nest, Shepherd's Bush, London
Neighbourhood rooftop bar the Hawk's Nest has reopened in London's Shepherd's Bush. It now features a retractable sliding glass roof, a midnight licence and festoon lighting. The 300-cover bar also offers pizzas and cocktails.

Snowflake, Manchester
Snowflake Gelato has opened two further kiosks and sit-down dining areas in Manchester's Trafford Centre. It offers a range of gelatos made from a blend of cream and organic Jersey milk from Ivy House Farm in Somerset. Waffles, cakes and shakes are also on offer.

Luci, Covent Garden, London
Aqua Restaurant Group has opened Italian dining bakery Luci, inspired by the grand Milanese cafés. The first floor features an 18-metre ‘bancone' counter and the second floor has spaces for intimate dining. Chef Andrea Pesenti, previously executive chef of Princi in London, leads the kitchen.

CHUO, Shoreditch, London
Tech-led sushi and izakaya restaurant CHUO has opened in London's Shoreditch.
Diners have access to 40 different dishes via a ‘sushi monorail' system, which is different to a ‘sushi conveyor belt', as all dishes are made fresh to order and delivered directly to guests.
CHUO says its unique front of house format enables the restaurant to reinvest its operational savings back into raising ingredient quality and offering training opportunities for staff.
The kitchen is led by head chef Armanto Tsatsa, who was previously at Miro Mayfair and Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay. He has also worked at branches of Ivy Asia and Taka Mayfair.
His team were at a range of Asian restaurants such as Bisushima, Sake no Hana, Ginza Onodera St James, Umu Mayfair, Sushi Samba, Cube, Prince Akatoki Hotel, and Dinings SW3.

Chef Jeff Marshall and his wife Nichola Marshall, have opened their debut fine dining restaurant in Lancaster. Head chef Oliver Parry showcases British cooking combined with influences from Japan, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

Roots, Teddington, London
Indian restaurant Roots has opened in London's Teddington. Chef-owner Mayur Nagarale, who was previously at Ma Cuisine in Kew Gardens, has devised a series of dishes combining age-old practices with seasonal produce.

The Upper Place, Islington, London
North London food hall the Upper Place has opened in Islington. Vendors include a powerhouse pizzeria, a Brazilian barbecue and a standalone wine bar. The 9,500 sq ft space is an all-day dining destination with 130 covers in its central seating area.

Woodhead Restaurant Group has opened a Gallic-inspired restaurant in London's Fitzrovia. The 1,600 sq ft space offers 34 covers and a private dining room for an extra 10. Executive chef Stuart Andrew serves a menu that pays homage to traditional French cuisine.

Emilia's Crafted Pasta, Baker Street, London
Emilia's Crafted Pasta will be opening its fourth restaurant in London's Baker Street. The 85-cover diner will feature an open kitchen with counter seating, a pasta making station, and a Murano glass chandelier. Guests will also have the option to dine alfresco.

Lavo, Marylebone, London
Tao Group Hospitality will be opening Italian restaurant Lavo in the BoTree Hotel in London's Marylebone. Ralph Scamardella, has created a menu offering fresh homemade pasta paired with a selection of cocktails.

Coco Boho, Edinburgh
Edinburgh-based Montpeliers Group has raised its portfolio of restaurants, bars, hotels and clubs to seven with the launch of Coco Boho.
The intimate late-night bar has been designed by Jim Hamilton and offers ‘rough-luxe' decor with a mix of booth and high table seating. Glasgow-based gallery Art Pistol was also commissioned to create murals.
The drinks menu was curated by drinks consultant Joey Medrington and includes the likes of frozen margaritas and signature serves such as the Grey Goose No 5 Love Potion. Draught beers, wines and slushies are also available.
The bar team received training from the World Flair Association to learn tricks to offer interactive performances for guests.

Geode, Knightsbridge, London
Arrow Hospitality will be opening Geode restaurant and bar in London's Knightsbridge. The 5,500 sq ft space will feature a cocktail bar, a mezzanine conservatory, and an open kitchen with a robata grill, rotisserie station and pizza oven.

Steven Burgess and Josh Moore of Bobo Group will be opening Portuguese and Spanish restaurant Bobo in Wirral. The menu will feature a variety of sides and sharing plates as well as dishes created from the churasqueiras charcoal grills.

The team behind 56 West Smithfield Wine Bar & Shop will open family-run restaurant Origin City in London's Smithfield. Executive chef Graham Chatham will pay homage to the family's British, Scottish, Provençal and Slavic ancestry.

Blue Lotus, Surrey
Nand Kishor Semwal, Pradeep Singh, Kushiram and Keshawananad Mamgai have opened Blue Lotus restaurant in Surrey. Dishes have been inspired by the "Grand Mother" style of cooking from different regions of India.

Finch, Brixton
Grays and Feather will be opening Finch wine bar in London's Brixton, offering a range of bubbles and wines from around the world as well as Brixton-inspired cocktails using local fruit and spirits.

Llama Inn, Shoreditch, London
New York Peruvian restaurant Llama Inn, which has a Bib Gourmand, will be opening a London outpost in the Hoxton hotel in Shoreditch. Led by Juan Correa and chef Erik Ramirez, it will offer a range of classic dishes and cocktails from the Brooklyn site.

Arcade Battersea, London
Arcade Battersea has opened its 500-cover food hall in London's Grade II-listed Battersea Power Station.
All the brands at Arcade Battersea were developed through Arcade Create, a programme that supports emerging food brands, and has resulted in concepts such as Flat Bread by Thomas Staker, Siu Siu Cantonese and Phed Power.
Architect Red Deer was responsible for the design, which takes inspiration from the two eras the Power Station was built in: the roaring 1920s and the Brutalist mid-century style from the 1950s.
There will also be three standalone restaurants in Arcade Battersea, including smash burger and fried chicken concept Manna; South American and Southern Europe grill restaurant Solis; and Taiwanese noodle shop Bao.

Tonkotsu Clapham, London
Ken Yamada and Emma Reynolds' ramen restaurant Tonkotsu will be opening its 17th store in London's Clapham. The noodles are made in-house from mid-century machines imported from Tokyo and are cooked to order in boiling water for 32 seconds.

Fumi, Brighton
Fabio Lauro has opened Japanese restaurant Fumi in Brighton alongside chefs Sun Byun, Reuben Walleris and Macaulay Sterland. Dishes showcasing local Sussex produce are available throughout breakfast, brunch and dinner.

Avocado Show, Covent Garden, London
The Amsterdam-based Avocado Show has opened in Covent Garden. It marks the group's second London launch, following its Mayfair restaurant. The all-day diner serves sustainably sourced avocados paired to meat and vegetarian options, such as fried chicken or crushed pistachio and feta.

Greggs has opened its first London airport site in Gatwick Airport's South Terminal as the food-on-the-go retailer seeks to bolster its expansion in transport hubs across the UK. The 24-hour, 1,600 sq ft site will offer a range of savoury and sweet treats.

Chocolate drinks brand Knoops has opened its 12th store, in London's Notting Hill. Originally founded in Rye, East Sussex, in 2013, Knoops offers a selection of iced and hot chocolate alongside a variety of baked goods.
