Mortimer House Kitchen appoints Cristian Parisi executive chef following departure of Lello Favuzzi
Mortimer House Kitchen in London's Fitzrovia has appointed Cristian Parisi as its new executive chef following the departure of head chef Lello Favuzzi (pictured).
Parisi was previously senior head chef for more than five years at the Salt Yard Group. He will oversee the menus at private members' club Mortimer House and Mortimer House Kitchen, which serves food inspired by the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
Dishes will include crispy butternut squash risotto with crab salad chives, apricot and harissa mascarpone; sweetcorn polenta egg puree, girolles and pickled shallots; marinated sea bass, leek, potato rosti, zhoug paste and strained yogurt; and char-grilled rib eye, cumin yogurt and balsamic caramelised cipollini.
Parisi will also lead the team for all catering needs across the venue's meeting and event spaces.
Favuzzi oversaw the kitchen for the last three years having joined from L'Anima in Shoreditch, where he was executive chef. Posting on social media, he said he "cannot wait to share my exciting news for 2022".
Mortimer House is owned by Guy Ivesha's Maslow's Group, which bought the property in 2016 in partnership with Cain International.
