Milk Beach to relaunch next month following expansion
All-day Australian restaurant Milk Beach is relaunching in early October.
The restaurant in London's Queen's Park has doubled in size after taking over the adjacent site formerly occupied by Hugo's restaurant.
The relaunch will also see Milk Beach enhance its evening service with a new dinner menu and an updated all-day brunch offering.
The restaurant, situated on the private mews of Lonsdale Road, will also feature a new bar area and an enlarged outdoor heated seating area with parasols for alfresco street dining all year round.
The new dinner offering by head chef Darren Leadbeater will include Cornish sprats with yogurt tartare and Tasmanian pepperberry; squid ink tagliatelle, cock crab and tomato fondue; koji-marinated chicken ‘Schnitty' with fermented chilli mayonnaise; and coffee custard tart.
A new bar will feature an international wine list of low-intervention and natural wines, cocktails and beer on tap, including Wolfpack Lager and Stone & Wood from Byron Bay.
Founder Elliot Milne said: "Lonsdale Road is such a unique destination in London which is only going to get better over time, we couldn't pass on the opportunity to expand the restaurant and our outside area, and grateful to be in a position to do so. We've always wanted more space, especially a bigger kitchen, and this will allow Darren, our brilliant head chef, to showcase his Australian-inspired dishes with new dinner and brunch menus."
