Liz Benison appointed country manager for ISS UK and Ireland

Liz Benison will join ISS UK and Ireland as the new country manager on 1 May, joining from Arriva where she was managing director for mainland Europe.

She will also become a member of the executive group management and report directly to group chief executive Jacob Aarup-Andersen.

Andrew Price, currently interim country manager, will assist Benison with the transition and continue in his role as head of strategic growth. Price stepped into the role temporarily in January when former country manager Purvin Patel decided to relocate to India for personal reasons.

Aarup-Andersen said: "I am very delighted that Liz Benison has accepted this position. UK and Ireland is an important market for ISS and we now have an experienced leader onboard to help drive the ongoing transformation and ensure profitable growth going forward.

Catering and facility management company ISS has approximately 37,000 employees in the UK and Ireland.
