Lina Stores lines up fifth London site
Lina Stores is to open its fifth London site in Marylebone Village in spring 2022.
The fast-growing pasta restaurant group has taken a two-storey site at 13-15 Marylebone Lane which it will relaunch as an all-day restaurant, delicatessen, and bar.
The menu will include antipasti and a new range of larger sharing pasta dishes, meat and fish, and desserts.
An open plan delicatessen, reminiscent of the original Lina Stores on Brewer Street (pictured), will serve salads, panini, fresh pasta, and pizza to eat in or takeaway, as well as Italian coffee and freshly baked goods.
By night, the deli will transform into a seated wine bar offer plates of sliced cured meats and sharing platters, alongside Italian wines, and drinks.
Masha Rener, head chef at Lina Stores, said: "With its neighbourhood feel and strong sense of local community, Marylebone Village is the perfect location for us to open both restaurant and delicatessen for the full Lina Stores experience."
Lina Stores was founded as a delicatessen on Soho's Brewer Street in 1944 and has been expanding over the last few years with the backing investor Chris Miller's White Rabbit Projects.
It has since opened a separate site in Soho as well as in King's Cross and Bloomberg Arcade in the City. Lina Stores launched its first international restaurant in Tokyo earlier this year.
