Legoland hotel reopens after 'accidental' fire
A hotel at Legoland Resort in Windsor has reopened after a fire forced it to close on Sunday afternoon (31 July).
The blaze at the hotel broke out in the canopy on the outside of the building at 3.34pm.
Firefighters were on the scene for around two hours and 35 minutes and extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets and an aerial ladder platform.
All guests and staff were evacuated safely, and customers were offered refunds or alternative accommodation.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue service said the cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
A spokesperson for the resort said the fire was "isolated to the front exterior" of the hotel and the site had closed while the fire brigade's investigation took place.
No one was hurt in the fire and the theme park remained open for business this week.
