La Tasca promises free meals if Spain wins World Cup

Casual dining chain La Tasca is set to give away thousands of free meals if Spain wins the World Cup.

The tapas restaurant and bar group, owned by the Bay Restaurant Group, will offer the meals to customers who watch the game in any of its restaurants showing the Spain vs Netherlands World Cup Final on Sunday.

Around one-third of its restaurants have been installed with screens to celebrate the competition.

Joanne Cox, La Tasca's brand manager said: "To show our support to the home of La Tasca and to our customers who come to watch the game in our selected restaurants, or to dine out on the experience, we will be cheering the win with thousands of complimentary meals."

But customers will only get a free meal if they prebook their table, place their food order between 7.00pm and 8.30pm on Sunday 11 July and be in the restaurant when the final whistle is blown.
