Hub Box to close Plymouth city centre site to focus on new waterfront flagship
Burger, barbecue and beer group Hub Box is closing its Plymouth city centre restaurant this week to focus on its new waterfront flagship being built at Royal William Yard.
Staff will move over to the new 180-cover restaurant and bar, which is expected to open this Easter on the ground floor of the Melville building. Hub Box will be the first business to open following extensive renovations to restore the venue.
The new restaurant will become the sole focus for Hub Box in Plymouth, and marks an expansion for the business, offering double the space of the old site.
Hub Box opened its first venue at St Ives harbour in Cornwall and now has 11 restaurants, including in Bristol, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Exeter, Falmouth and Truro.
