Hotel dining rooms and bars must close in line with curfew
Updated government legislation has confirmed that hotel dining rooms and bars must close in line with the hospitality curfew.
It has been clarified that the 10pm curfew on hospitality businesses in England applies to hotel restaurants, bars and dining areas and guests and residents will not be able to continue using these areas after 10pm.
Hotels will still be able to provide food and drink through room service as long as it is ordered by phone or online. Further information from UKHospitality, the BBPA and BII has been published here.
The restrictions on all pubs, bars and restaurants in England come into effect this evening and include compulsory table service. The move has been slammed as "devastating" and "another crushing blow" for the industry.
