Hotel Cateys 2021 entries close this week

Entries for the Hotel Cateys 2021, the awards that celebrate the hotel sector and the employees that make every guest experience memorable, close this week.

The awards, supported by headline sponsors Bidfood, remain the hotel industry's only truly independent benchmark of operational excellence, with entrants judged by their peers and industry experts.

This year the Hotel Cateys will be celebrating those individuals and teams that have best supported their colleagues and the business in which they work, recognising creativity and commitment through an exceptional period.

The Caterer editor James Stagg said: "The Hotel Cateys celebrate those teams and individuals who work tirelessly to support the UK's hotel sector. In what has been a trying year for every hospitality business, we can't wait to celebrate those who have excelled despite everything.

"We are looking for housekeepers who exemplify first-class cleanliness and hygiene, HR teams who have kept spirits up and supported employees through the pandemic and front of house teams who have demonstrated a commitment to high standards of customer service regardless of restrictions."

Entries can also be submitted for the Hotelier of the Year award, sponsored by Casna Group, which recognises those at the very pinnacle of the hotel profession.

Winners will be celebrated at a glittering ceremony held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge on 19 November.
