James Cochran, Gizzi Erskine and Ellis Barrie back Hospitality Action charity T-shirt campaign
Chefs and food influencers including Gizzi Erskine, Ellis Barrie and Tommy Heaney have backed 12:51 and Hospitality Action's ‘ChariTee' campaign.
Profits from the sales of the hospitality-themed T-shirt, designed by London-based artist Sam Sockett, will go towards the industry charity.
12:51 chef and Great British Menu champion James Cochran has teamed up with Hospitality Action on the campaign, which will provide financial relief to thousands of hospitality households in financial crisis and offer vital resources for those who are struggling during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.
Kricket founder Will Bowlby, Black Axe Mangal's Lee Tiernan, AngloThai's John and Desiree Chantarasak, Lee Westcott, White Men Can't Jerk and Whyte Rushen have also pledged to back the campaign.
All profits go to help Hospitality Action alleviate poverty for people who work, or have worked, at any level in UK hospitality. The charity supports current and former hospitality workers facing mental health challenges or dealing with illness, bereavement, debt or addiction, as well as helping to keep loneliness at bay for hospitality retirees.
The limited-edition hospitality themed t-shirt is screenprinted on 100% organic cotton, ethically made and manufactured using sustainable energy by Print Social.
