Hilton London Heathrow Airport to unveil £3m refurb this spring
Hilton London Heathrow Airport is to unveil the results of a £3m refurbishment this spring when it can reopen.
The redesign will feature an oversized chandelier and living plant installations in the 398-bedroom property's atrium. The hotel will also be one of the first Hiltons to roll out the group's OXBO concept which was launched in the Hilton London Bankside. The Heathrow hotel will have three different outlets – OXBO Café, OXBO bar and OXBO kitchen – with different menus but all focusing on sustainability.
The hotel is also extending its event options for when gatherings are permitted and has created the Concorde Exhibition space, which can accommodate up 170 people.
General manager Oliver Stockland said: "The hotel is well known for its first-class customer service and the new look will certainly enhance the customer experience. We've made the most of the fantastic space we have here and created a contemporary, stylish look which we are confident will be well received by all of our guests. We can't wait for them to experience it for themselves."
