Heathrow Park Inn relaunched as dual-branded property including first UK Radisson
The former Park Inn by Radisson at London's Heathrow Airport has been relaunched as a dual-branded property, housing both the group's Radisson Red brand and the UK's first Radisson hotel.
The official rebranding date was 14 July and the property now features one wing with 258 bedrooms under the Radisson Red brand. The remaining bedrooms – more than 600 – come under the Scandinavian-inspired Radisson brand. The restaurant, lounge and bar are shared by both hotels.
Tom Flanagan Karttunen, area senior vice president Northern & Western Europe, Radisson Hotel Group, said: "Introducing two new and vibrant brands to such an important international airport location is extremely exciting. This is our first Radisson and second Radisson Red hotel to open in the UK, which marks a major milestone for the company. The extensive transformation of the property meets the ever-changing and growing needs of our diverse customer base."
Radisson is part of Radisson Hotel Group, which also includes Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson.
