Gordon Drake appointed CEO of the Doyle Collection
The Doyle Collection has announced that Gordon Drake will be succeeding Pat King as the new chief executive of the group.
Drake's previous roles have included senior vice-president of Westmont Hospitality Group; chief financial officer of Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas; and group treasurer and corporate finance manager at Rocco Forte Hotels.
Over the last four years, the Doyle Collection has invested €65m (£55.6m) across its portfolio through the refurbishment of bedrooms, the addition of luxury suites, and in its bars and restaurants.
The Doyle Collection is a family-owned and operated international luxury hotel group which owns the Westbury hotel (pictured) in Dublin. In the UK, it owns the Marylebone, the Kensington, and the Bloomsbury, all in London, as well as the Bristol. The group's Irish hotels also include the River Lee in Cork and the Croke Park hotel in Dublin. In the US, the group owns the Dupont Circle hotel in Washington DC.
