Orida Group appoints Countrywide Hotels to manage Holiday Inn Maidstone – Sevenoaks

Countrywide Hotels has been appointed to manage the 106-bedroom Holiday Inn Maidstone – Sevenoaks, following its acquisition today by golf investment company Orida Group.

The hotel is the second Holiday Inn to be managed by Countrywide Hotels, under a franchise agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group, alongside the Holiday Inn South Normanton M1 J28 in Derbyshire. The company now operates 12 hotels including Broome Park, near Canterbury, Kent; Hunton Park, Watford, Hertfordshire; and Whately Hall, Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Orida Group intends to undertake a full refurbishment of the Holiday Inn Maidstone – Sevenoaks, which features 12 meeting spaces, restaurant, bar, health club and swimming pool. The company is the owner of three golf clubs: Oatland Park, Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire; Park Wood, Tatsfield, Kent; and Surrey Downs, Kingswood, Surrey.
